Tears for Tulips

I am a first year in college, majoring in art and minoring in writing. There is more to me than what you might first see but i hide behind my pride and fear. I'm single but it's not like love is easy to find. I hope you get something out of my venting, poetry, and heart even if its a decent laugh.

I Miss These Nights

I miss waking up in the middle of the night and seeing your shadowed figure in the moonlight that shines through your slitted blinds sleeping peacfullly in the night.  And when i couldn’t sleep, your steady breathing lulled me back to a dreamless slumber and me knowing that your face would be the first I’d see when i next opened my eyes gave me the strength i needed to close my eyes to your sleeping form. 

We Cant Escape Our Demons

As night lays its dark blanket over the earth; it cleanses the ground from the scotching demons of the day.  Their haunting of life thrives in the darkest shadows of the night; constant battles among fear, love, lose and hope.  Every night they fight a bloody war and every morning the sun warms the cold earth thus burning they’re bloody battle to nothingness and replacing it with its own demons of the day.

whaddupboss: This is my baby cousin. He’s 3 years old and was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia last night.  He’s only expected to live another 6 months at most. Please reblog this to spread the word, I need as many people to pray for him as possible. I promised my family I’d do everything I could to make his remaining time worthwhile and the best it can be, so this is an effort on my part to try and keep that promise.  The more prayers I can get for him, the better off he will hopefully be. It would mean a lot to me, thank you so much.
